e-Government workshop will be held with the collaboration of UNDESA
According to the planning and arrangements made by the IT Planning and Monitoring Center of Information Technology Organization of Iran, the e-Government workshop will be held on the first week of March with the collaboration of UNDESA.
One of the main components of ICT Monitoring System of Iran is International Relations. Effective communication and relations with the related international bodies is very important in communicating the achievements of I. R. Iran in ICT domain and improving the ranking of country in the international rankings.
Based on the above mentioned priority and with the aim of developing e-government in Iran according to the national and international objectives, IT Planning and Monitoring Center of Information Technology Organization of Iran started its communications with UNDESA and as a first step it was agreed to organize a workshop about e-government by UNDESA and ITO in Tehran.
According to the plan, the workshop will be held on the first week of March. Representatives of executive bodies who are involved in developing e-government in their organizations will participate in this workshop. The following subjects are discussed in this workshop:
e-Government development roadmap of Iran
Development and evaluation of e-services
Single window for e-services
Improving Web site design of executive bodies
UN e-Government Survey and improving e-government development index and e-participation index of Iran.
